Baby Boy!

Yes we are having another boy.  We are so excited.  Koyo will have a little friend to play with.  I will have to get the ultrasound pics scanned and uploaded for everyone to see.  The ultrasound tech said that she is 100% sure its a boy, he was showing off his manhood the whole time she was measuring.  I had to roll on to my sides so that she could do different measurements since he loved to be on one of his sides.  So we didn't get the back view with his Spinal cord measurements but they said if the doctor feels that he needs it he will order another ultrasound.

So a second boy.  What shall we call him?  Boy names are so difficult, if anyone has a great idea for names let us know!

Easter 2011

This Easter Koyo got to participate in a lot of things.  In the morning of Easter he actually knew what exactly to do with all his eggs and found them all very quickly.  He was so excited to open the eggs.  This year we got to go to the Clay Center egg hunt, colored eggs with the Israelsens and Traceys, and got to do egg hunting at home and at the Israelsens. So much fun!!!

A 2 Year Old!

Ok so last year I was able to put up a slide show of his first year up earlier.  This year it ended up being a little bid later.
The birthday party was lots of fun.  We got to celebrate it with lots of friends.  I went a little over board on the cake and food... I guess I don't get to invite all of our friends over at once too often so I was really excited.  Birthday boy was sure excited about everyone being there.  He didn't get the opening presents part.  Gordon had to kind of force him to do it.  Also he didn't want to blow his candles, he got a little shy and ran away during the time everyone was singing to him.

My little boy is 2.  Can't believe that I have a 2 year old!!! Its amazing how much they grow, change, and learn in a short time.  Also how much Gordon and I have grown, changed, and learned.  Its amazing how much you can learn from a child.  I have learned that the simple things really matter, patients is important in all things,  I need to sit back and let him learn, they understand more than we think, a kiss from a small child makes the day, tired as I might be holding him in my arms at the end of the day I fill so blessed and happy, and so much more.  I feel that having a child has helped me see a little of what our Heavenly Father might feel for us. How I'm so thankful for His patients for me and His infinite love that He has for me.  How I might be so imperfect but He still provides a way for me to make it right.  He truly knows what I need.

The slide show for his Second Year.  Look how much hair he has now compared to a year ago!!!

Trip to Japan 2011

So I have to say I am really bad at blogging.  I have so much to update on tonight that I don't know if I can do it all.  I will have to skip on loading some pictures.

So back to the Japan trip.  I left on April 11th, which was day after the big earthquake and tsunami.  I left knowing that it all happened.  I had contacted my sister Reiko and found out that everything in Nagoya (where I was headed to) was perfectly fine.  I had a direct flight there and didn't have to go through Tokyo.  Unfortunately, my other sister Sayuri was trying to land couple afters the earthquake happened so they were taken to Sapporo which is the very north part of Japan.  She was stuck there for 2 days.  She also had to leave Japan earlier.  I had couple of worried phone calls from my husband and several e-mails of people worrying about me during the time I was there.  But all in all everything was ok.

The trip to Japan was ok, I wished we could of done a little more but its difficult when you have a almost 2 year old.  We got to go to A big Toy Museum that had a small aquarium and his favorite character's museum (Anpanman).

We got to see Jiji, my dad.  He came out from Yokohama for us.  He stayed the night over at my sisters too.  He was glad to get home in the morning.

Koyo was always so excited to go places in Japan.

A baby!

We are expecting a baby on September 29th.  We went to our first ultrasound on March 7th.  We are very excited.  I am a tad bit worried about how I'm going to do it with two kids, but hope that will come naturally... if not that I will learn quickly.
I am about 17 weeks now, and I am already showing.
We find out soon what we will be having, which is really exciting.  I have felt the first kick already (last Tue.) which is way earlier than my first one.  I don't think I recognized his kicks until I was 20 weeks at least.

Here are the ultrasound picks that we took with our own camera off the screen, not that good but haven't had the chance to scan.
